This bodice knife is one of my earliest pattern welded blades. It is one of few blades created several years ago and then forgotten about in a tool box. As I recall, I forge welded layers of 1075, 1095, and 5160 to produce the blade. I recently finished it with a light etch in rice vinegar to bring out a traditional low contrast finish.
The hilt is tipped at each end with bog oak. The center of the hilt is cherry wood.
Does not include a sheath.
